The Canadian Decorators’ Association (CDECA) has announced the winners of the Canada-wide 2017 Decorating and Design Competition, now in its 23rd year. Industry leaders from across Canada selected gold, silver and bronze medal winners in nine categories. The submissions are evaluated based on complexity, concept, materials, and functionality.
“We work in a creative field, so being exposed to excellence in interior decorating and kitchen and bath design using the latest in finishes and applications is very inspiring,” says Mary Dancey, chair of the 2017 awards for CDECA. “It’s also important to recognize how CDECA’s accredited members across Canada are advancing their craft.”
